Launch of SaintsFunder
We are delighted to let you know about the launch of SaintsFunder – the University’s new dedicated crowdfunding platform managed by Sam Byers and Lynsey Kerr from the Annual Giving team in Development.
SaintsFunder has been designed to enable alumni, students, Schools, Service Units and academic researchers to fundraise for specific University activities and projects that they are passionate about.
The platform is being kick started with projects supported by Saints Sport and the Music Centre. Saints Sport are crowdfunding for Wardlaw Scholarships by attempting to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon during one 24 hour period in the 3 Peaks Challenge on 19 May. Hot on the heels of this project, the Music Centre will be crowdfunding to support the Byre Opera production of Handel’s Xerxes, which is being performed on 5 and 6 July by current undergraduate and postgraduate students at The Priory Church of the Order of St John in Clerkenwell, London.
