One million dollar donation to Scottish Oceans Institute and PhD Scholarship
We are delighted to announce that Frank and Beverley MacInnis, parents of Rob MacInnis (PhD 2010), have recently donated $850,000 to support the Scottish Oceans Institute (SOI) and $150,000 to support a PhD scholarship in Physics and Astronomy. The completion of the £16 million SOI will place Scotland at the forefront of international marine research.
