Arnold Palmer Invitational 2019 – recap
On Monday 9 September we hosted the annual Arnold Palmer Invitational golf event at the beautiful Castle Course, St Andrews. 36 players took to the course in teams of two, batting for the coveted trophy in better ball format.
Eventual winners, Frank MacInnis and Graham Dalton, scored an impressive 6 under par 65, winning on count back with a better last five holes over David Kirk and Tim Stump, who also came in with a 65.

A nett hole in one on 17 for Frank and a miraculous escape from trouble on 18 by Graham sent the trophy into their hands. Other prize winners included Mary McLarty (closest to the pin) and Ian Gaunt (longest drive).
Thank you to everyone who took part in the competition, and we hope to see you next year. We are already looking forward to the 2020 event, which will take place on Monday 7 September.
Below is a video recap of the event, and more images are available on our Facebook page.
